How do I change my picture for the folder thumbview?
« on: January 12, 2008, 11:37:35 am »

Hello

I am new to all of this and have had it set up for me.

I now need to change the picture for the gallery folders.

I have been into 'sort' but am unable to view the actual photos (it only gives a list).  I have moved the pictures up and down but can never get the photo i would like into my folder for display!.

Also, this system is so slow and takes a long time to open each photo.

website:  www.photographyofasia.com

thank you..

Your site is indeed slow. You may consider moving to a new webhost that offers better server performance. For a start, turn the random and last uploads meta albums off ("content of the mainpage" in coppermine's config) - they are resource eaters. You might as well consider not to display the first level abums in category view.

P.S. It's not a bright idea to display your email address on each page - this will only clutter your inbox with spam, as the email address will attract harvesters. Your best bet would be to use a contact form instead.
