I have installed the latest Coppermine release 1.4.14. When I batch upload file,I ftp my pics to my album that I created.  Then I go to Batch Upload link. I then select the directory where I uploaded the pics. It then shows the picture's filenames then I click on okay. I then select all the pictures I want to upload and select the Album where I want them placed. I click "Insert Selected Files". In the past this will upload the pics then tell me if they were OK or Duplicate was found etc. But now it just takes me back to where I select the Directory where I FTP'd the pics. What gives...any help would be appreciated.

I checked all the forums and this upload guide. I found someone with a similar problem but their issue was either due to file names of the pics or they use a Windows based hosting solution. I on the other hand use a linux based hosting and my file name does not start with the word normal_xxx.jpg.  I dont have a problem uploading single files using the Upload File link. I only encounter the problem when I batch up load. I created a test account

Regular http uploads work as expected (see http://www.joseclan.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-157). Post a deep link to one of the files you're trying to batch-add that causes issues for you.

Hm, I was able to download that pic from your server and batch-add it to my testbed, so the file itself is not foul. Please PM me an admin account.

You haven't performed your last upgrade properly. Versioncheck shows that there are a lot of outdated files. Perform a full upgrade.

I performed the complete upgrade. I checked the versions and I get all green. Tried the batch upload and still failed.  The weird thing is if I FTP pics to my other folder Family Pics instead of the Kaila folder, I can batch add them to my gallery.

What are your thoughts on this? Bad/Corrupt folder?

You have a load of pics in that one particular folder. That's not what batch-add is suppossed to be used for. You should create sub-folders that represent your category/album structure for easier management. I suggest as well to avoid capitalization in folder and file names. Create a new folder within the albums folder, name it "baby_pics" or something else that is unique, upload the files there and see what happens.
