can i upload photos to my localhost??

am using WAMP and am tring to upload photos to coppermind in my localhost to test it
but it always tell me ,upload it using ftp
any suggestions??????

Just copy the files instead.

sorry,but what files?? u mean the photo folder ....and where exactly??

Did you read the documentation that comes with coppermine, especially the batch-add section?
It's not recommended to run a webserver of your own if you have no idea how to operate it properly. Anyway, the files should go into your_coppermine_root/albums/any_subfolder_structure_you_need/
