Cannot upload certain images?

I'm getting an error when uploading certain images. This error only comes about with large files it seems.

When using the "Upload file" link, I get this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 14592 bytes) in /hsphere/local/home/corkcity/corkcityfc.ie/gallery/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 235
