Batch upload problems
« on: November 01, 2006, 07:05:54 am »

Hi,

I did exactly as it said in the docs and created a directory in the album section.  I did a batch upload to it and when it went to the place to select the files it said it couldn't see any of the photos and wouldn't allow me to select them all.  How on earth do I get photos into my albums?

Thanxs.

1) Do exactly as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs
2) When on a Windows-driven webserver, turn the browsable batch-add interface off

Hello,

I am getting the same type of error. I have done a google search and that is how i got here.

Was this issue solved for the other user ?.

I think it has to do with new versions of coppermine together with a strict security in the server.

I think that if i have less security in the server i will not run in this problem but i would like to know what i should change.

I have done a fresh install and it still has the problem.

Thank you,

Paulo Santos

First of all: you shouldn't try to hijack someone else's thread - the symptoms may be the same for you as for the original thread starter. The reason (and potential "cure") may be different though. Your reply is very pointless - I already told the thread starter what he needs to do to obtain support:
1) Do exactly as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs
There are clear instructions in that section of the docs what you need to do when asking for support on upload issues. You obviously failed to do that. So do your homework (i.e. read the docs section I refered to) and do as suggested there. Start a new thread of your own.
