I need a secure categorie. Only a few user in a special group should see that categorie. It should be invisible for all others.

categories can't be private, but albums can be. Use the tools that already exist, by setting up the group in groups manager, allowing them to upload to public albums. Then, go to album properties and choose your special group in the dropdown "Album can be viewed by" and you're done.

I need to do something similar where i make photos only viewable to members.

I am Running PHP NUke 6.9

and coppermine 1.2.

and when i click on Album List -> Album Properties (on any album i have) - i only get 3 options for permissions, that are:

1) Visitors can upload pictures
2) Visitors can post comments
3) Visitors can rate pictures

So how can i get the option to make an album viewable my registered members only???

I now realise this can be done for USER albums - but can it be done for the Albums i have created as an ADMIN.

I would really like to be able to do this.

To get the 'album can be viewed by' box in the properties page, you need to set 'users can have private albums' to YES in config.
