I have setup and configured coppermine from my apple mac, and all appeared to work well. My webhosting is linux based, i have no problem using coppermine from any mac , however it will not work if anyone attempts to upload from a windows pc. Once the file has been uploaded it says successful upload however when you go to contine you to place the file the screen just goes completely blanl. My website  is  www.j1smedia.co.uk/cpg1414/index.php  I have set up a test user account  U/N  k2chris  P/W rovers95 .

I have read all guides and docs, i have also contacted my webhosting who tell me it should work ( I am using Heart internet)

I get the message 'A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again.' when attempting to upload. This is a message from the server not from Coppermine. Review your permissions.

i have tried changing file permission to 755  and to 777 on every folder but no joy!!

are u using a mac, if i use my mac it works fine, but anyone using a pc it wont work

I use Linux. Client OS should make no difference.

thats what i thought, any mac or linux it works fine, any windows pc after upload screen just goes blank, i have tested it onon a few machines and over 100 visitors to my site have tried and failed to upload pics from a pc, but those from a mac are fine!!!!!

Works fine from Vista/IE7 too.

i dont understand i have had over a hundred complaints it wont work on a pc just gives a blank screen and i cant get it to work on any pc running xp i have tried, i have tried permission changes, my webhost thinks it all should work, but to no avail
