« on: December 17, 2007, 01:35:12 pm »

Hi

Having a few problems, My album and category list/index has disappeared, My photos are still there but can't be sorted because of the missing file(s). now I've made back-ups of my coppermine files a while back but I don't know what coppermine file to reload to see if that will work. Any help please

Thanks
Dale

Hi Frantz

I reuploaded the coppermine files and still nothing, what is the actual coppermine file that holds the category and album list's? or is it a sql file from the database? or index.html?

I have the gallery offline right now till this is fixed but i can pm you the link.

Thanks

they are many files who are used to handle this (theme.inc.php and theme.php from your theme ...)

in the config page, look what is set in album list view->The content of the main page

Post a link to your gallery!
Make sure you haven't made changes in config that stop displaying the category and album list.

As I do not know what you've done it's hard to give you advice. Your database doesn't contain pic, comment, album or category info at all. You've two users, you and the account you created for me.

If you have the pictures on your server harddrive (check by FTP), then I'd say a databse backup that has been created right after installing the gallery has been restored. If you have an up to date db backup, just restore that and you should have back most of your data.
