Drag and Drop Disabling On a Mac?
« on: March 26, 2004, 05:53:02 am »

Hello,
I am setting up a website and have put in the right click disable as well as the watermark hack and it works beautifully on Windows and all of the browsers on it. My problem is that on a Mac every browser from Safari to Camino lets the viewer drag and drop the pic to their desktop.
Any idea or hacks that would not allow someone to hold their mouse down and drag a pic to their desktop on a Mac?

Thanks everyone!

Drag and Drop Disabling On a Mac?

you have just experienced how silly and futile "no-right-click" scripts are. There is nothing to really prevent users from "stealing" content from your site. That's the way browsers work. If something has to remain private, don't publish it on the internet! This is not related to coppermine, but applies to anything that any browser displays.
