[Solved]: Thumb size in orginal-image.
« on: February 27, 2008, 10:17:43 pm »

Hi,

When I try to use "exact" at my thumbnails some orginal-images also get that size. Why is that?

I meant a link to a pic that you consider to be problematic.

Uh, I changed to "exact" again and this time it made the thumbs look really wierd. I used 93px as height.

I just read the docs and can't find my problem anywhere.

When I try to use exact size of my thumbs, some of my orginal-images turn outs to look really small in firefox. Example:
http://andreasjohnson.starszz.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pos=0
And even smaller in explorer:
http://andreasjohnson.starszz.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pos=0

All my thumbs in Explorer (6.0) just have a height of 1 pixel. Example:
http://andreasjohnson.starszz.com/gallery/index.php

When I edit height in config, the next time I go there the height-space is empty.

It's theme issues... probably a theme that is a plain copy of the sample/theme.php. Remove all unnecessary (not modified) functions and variables. You can try the classic theme... no problem there.

Looks to me as if you set the resize method to 'exact' but haven't set a thumb height.

you're right, the pictures work if I change theme. I guess I have to try to re-code the gallery so it looks like I want it.

The prob with 1px height in IE is still there though, and I set the height everytime but it's gone next time I check the config.

run update.php again... if that doesn't help reupload the modpack files. Make sure you upload all files overwriting the existing ones.

I think it works now. I changed template and run the update file again and everything seems to work. Thanks a lot for your help!
