Got something which I think is a little strange in my gallery. I've searched the forum using every combination of the phrase next gallery image and nothing I can find refers to this but I'll be amazed if it's just me.

Anyway - When I comment on an image and submit the comment the page changes from the one I was originally on (i.e. the image with the filmstrip of the next couple and last couple of images uploaded to the users album. That means the next image to go to on the filmstrip is one by the same user, not the next image in the gallery which I would have thought would make more sense. Is there a way to force the page to stay where it is (i.e. the image I've just commented on with the next and previous uploads) or at worst move onto the next uploaded image?

Post a link to a page where this happens and (if needed to comment) a non-admin test user account.

Worked as expected for me: I went to http://davidbrennan.co.uk/epv3/coppermine/displayimage.php?pos=-22, posted a comment and was returned to that page.

Can you try it again please but have a look at what is on the filmstrip when you first select an image from the main gallery page. Then once you submit a comment you'll see that the filmstrip now only shows images by the user who's image you comment on. You can't follow on to the next uploaded image without going back to the main page and starting again.

Is this likely to be something I've done incorrectly or is this the default setting and I would need to change something to get it to either show the original filmstrip or move automatically to the next one?

Works as expected for me. I went to the users gallery, David's album, clicked the first thumbnail (with a castle). At the bottomn (film strip) I can see one more image (with a bird). I posted my comment and was returned to the exact page - the one with the castle. Next image in film strip still was the bird.

Very strange. Can I ask are you going into an album then selecting an image to comment on or just clicking on one from the latest uploads on the front page?

I didn't use a meta album, but used the regular navigation as described above.
