Then fix that other issue first. Return here if it is fixed and change your config accordingly. Post here if the other thread is solved and you have done the needed changes in the groups control panel.
Closing this thread in the meantime. Will re-open it when you're ready.

http uploads now work but batch add stills says I need to set premision to 755 or 777, I have permission set on all mentioned directories but still nothing, any ideas?

It doesn't say that you're suppossed to set this to a particular value. It says that you have a permission issue and that you have to set permissions. We have a detailed section about permissions in the docs. Read it up and do as suggested there.

I fixed the afore mentioned problem now for help w/ the uploading issue.
Then you should have resolved the other thread as well >:(

I have followed all the information I can find in the docs will know results. Thats why I asked for help. Im not a helpless fool. I am self-tought in the internet world and try and help myself first, then ask for help. If you wouldnt be so concerned about your communistic rules and more concerned with helping people you would have noticed that I previously said that I read the docs and tried the suggestions I found in there with no results, thus I would not be repeating myself now.

Consider the matter closed, I have found the underlying problem that I must now fix. I am unable to set permissions for indivdual albumsmaking access impossble except to the user who created them.

First pic is the permisson message I see when batching, underlined in red

Second pic is the screen I see after clicking 'Insert selcted files'

Third pic is what I see after clicking the dead pic on the right(white box w/ red x)
after seeing this message I thought it might be the resizing tool, I tried ImageMagick,
GD1, and GD2 with the same result

As suggested: set permissions on the albums folder and everything within it as suggested in the permissions section of the docs. Make sure that the user the webserver runs under has write access.
