Moving Coppermine

I'm trying to restructure my site so I can work with its directories more efficiently.  Is it possible to safely and easily change the directory of my Coppermine gallery?  I was thinking of moving it to a subdomain.

Yes, as long as you move everything within your gallery folder into the sub-folder that corresponds to the subdomain. Just reflect your change after moving by going to coppermine's config and changing the gallery URL there.
