Thumbnail Counts/Hover
« on: November 01, 2007, 04:31:54 pm »

Hi...

I have the ad-on that creates the specific sized thumbnails..

http://www.thefancarpet.com/

Problem: When you hover, it states how many times the thumbnail was viewed.

Does anyone know how to remove this?

Thank You!

You have what?

http://www.thefancarpet.com/
Making as search your start page for your actual gallery instead of posting a deep link to your gallery is not a bright move. Your actual gallery appears to reside here: http://www.thefancarpet.com/archives/

Problem: When you hover, it states how many times the thumbnail was viewed.
Actually, it doesn't say how often the thumbnail was viewed, but how often the corresponding intermediate/fullsize image was viewed.

Anyway, this has been asked and answered frequently, please search the board for threads that explain how the title/alt tag of the thumbnails can be manipulated. Hint: it requires editing themes/yourtheme/theme.php, the function theme_html_picture()

Sorry you miss understood, the reason I gave the main page url : www.thefancarpet.com is because I used the add on 'Stramm' to make the thumbs all the same size.. and when you hover over any of the 9 thumbnails on this main page, it stats how many 'views' in the alt hover. Should I contact Stramm for help solve this or do you guy know how. Many Thanks. Jess.

Your mainpage isn't created by coppermine so no CPG code change will help you here. If you use CPMfetch to include these pics on your index, then start there to ask how to remove or change the img title.

I dont understand.

I used an input php code found at this site a while ago.

In the copy it says

'include script for CPG (c) 2003 GauGau (mail@gaugau.de) V1.4             //
//  http://gaugau.de/ '

So, surely Gau Gau, your able to able me? :(

I dont know who CPMFetch is?

Please help.

Jessica.

I used an input php code found at this site a while ago.
Years ago...
'include script for CPG (c) 2003 GauGau (mail@gaugau.de) V1.4             //
//  http://gaugau.de/ '
Which means that it's not very likely to find support for this script  here. As suggested in the copyright disclaimer, the script used to be a third-party contribution.

The script you're refering to is ancient and no longer supported (not here nor on my personal page).
"Unsupported" actually means "no support at all" [...]
The dev team recommends the use of cpmFetch instead of ssi.php (as I have repeated many times over on this board). [...]
If you insist on using ssi.php, you're on your own - that's it!
Don't use that script. Use cpmFetch instead as suggested already.
I dont know who CPMFetch is?
A simple search would have told you so. Don't expect us to do your homework or to be spoon-fed.
