« on: March 22, 2004, 07:58:02 am »

Hi - I searched the forum for the answer to add customer header.html and footer.html file to coppermine but couldn't find the answer.. i also checked the FAQ to see if this is addressed - but it didn't seem to.. i already have an existing header.html and footer.html file - how do I add or wrap this around coppermine? Thanks for your help! =D

thanks.. i found that in the faq.. i tried to find a simple way..
i guess there's no quick way to just add my html in it.. i'd have to copy the code into template.html

Perhaps I'm not using the right search words but I can't find an answer here or in the FAQ's or docs.

I'm able to edit theme.php or template.html to add a link. The link appears and looks okay. The problem is that the link changes from www.mydoamin.com to www.mydomain.com/gallery/www.mydomain.com.

The code I add is: <a href="www.mydomain.com" title="Homepage">Homepage</a> ::

Anyone?

You need to use http://www.mydomain.com as with any external link you make in a web page.

It works! Now I feel like an idiot for not thinking of it myself. I'll gladly exchange feeling like an idiot for getting a problem solved!

How can I get the customer footer/header to display an html file that is strictly for a navigation bar?

The custom header/footer feature does not exist in 1.2. Post in the appropriate board for the version of Coppermine you are using.
