date added removal

I have a customer that wants the date removed from the pictures, especially on the main page.  Some of their pictures don't get put up until a week after the event and it can get confusing.  How do i get rid of this?  I've looked through the forums and FAQ's, and can't seem to find what i'm looking for.  Please help. Thank you.

when i add new pictures to the gallery, it has the date it was added underneath it.

also, it shows when each album was added to the gallery.  they think it's confusing that pictures that were taken in august have an october date.  I added them in october, not august.
