Linking on description

im trying to put a link to a file under the description. but it seems not to work........ it takes me to a site that says Page cannot be displayed any ideas to get around this or is there like a plugin to add additional files

2) Post a deep link to the page that sends you to the non-existing page.

2) Post a deep link to the page that sends you to the non-existing page.
