Database Windows

La mia domanda è semplice semplice: è possibile installare coppermine su un database windows o è obbligatorio quello Linux? Grazie.

I'm only capable to answer in English: a database is platform independant - there is no such thing as a "Windows database" or "Linux database". Coppermine needs a mysql database (no matter what operating system you use). Mysql is available both for Linux as well as for Windows. Coppermine does not work with "MS SQL" (which is a Windows-only database type).

In questo forum trovi FAQ in italiano di Coppermine, trucchi, plugins, hacks, mods, etc... ed al suo interno i link alle discussioni importanti/interessanti/utili.
Fra queste, appunto, Requisiti minimi per usare Coppermin, dove troverai ciò che cerchi.
Come spiegato in inglese da GauGau, un database è indipendente dalla piattaforma su cui gira: Coppermine ha bisogno di un database mySQL e non importa se il server gira su Windows o su Linux.

La domanda è connessa quindi chiedo...
Su un database da 100MB ce la faccio ad aprire due gallerie?

Una è già avviata ed ha circa 50.000 immagini..posso aprire un'altra?
