looking for intregration with a script that reads info from lists

Hi All

Firstly I have searched high a low for this, however i have had no luck..

Can anyone help with this

I need to read the folder contents from outside coppermine. EG:

Script looks for www.mydomain.com/coppermine/album1/list.txt

However when you try to place a .txt file in an album is crashes coppermine, therefore I am wondering if a small piece of code could be written into coppermine to either allow this or create the list from a user selection of files the .txt file needs to be something like

happy times|happy.mov|990|

the 990 relates to the time length of movie in seconds.

any help is most welcome, please bear in mind I am not a programmer... However I have a basic knowledge of scripts etc...
