problem with signature

I'm sorry, I looked and looked but could not find the right place to post this.

Very simple.  My signature will only allow to enter 1 character.  is this default?  i would like to add a signature to my posts here.

Thanks in advance, and again, i'm sorry for posting this incorrectly.

Signatures had to be removed due to abuse.
