Photo Shop :Request - Add more purchase options
« on: August 03, 2007, 01:55:30 am »

Where would I begin looking to add more options under the drop down price selector in Stramms photo shop plugin ?  What I am thinking is some check boxes (to indicate border style for example) that would not incur extra charges but would include the selection made by the customer in the order data.    I was also thinking, rather than having a huge list of pricing for all of the different framing options, there could be a series of radio or check boxes that added different options of framing, etc.. to the final total of the order.   Can you squeeze in these extra bits in the form code ?

I imagine this to be kind of a major project and thanks in advance for any ideas on how to add more data to the purchase order.

That'll mean a lot of changes... some extra sql, frontend, backend, testing.

codebase.php
lang files
photo_shop_admin.php
photo_shop_checkout.php
photo_shop_cart.php

some more... depending on how you integrate the new functionality

Thanks for the reply Stramm.  I will bump this if the day ever comes when I try and figure that out.
