Hi,

When I try to upload a picture (even a very small one), I get a blank white screen.

I have checked all the files and permissions - they are okay.
I have followed the troubleshooting advice to show error messages etc, but this hasn't helped because nothing is displayed.

Please advise.

Hey,

That's weird, after seeing your successful upload, I tried on my brother's pc and it worked fine - so just my laptop that's a problem! (My laptop is newer than his pc).

At least I know my site works, but if anyone has any ideas about why my laptop is causing the problem, I'd be interested to hear them!

Check for paranoid pseudo-security apps that butt in when internet access is concerned. Notorious "Norton Internet Security" and similar crap come to mind.

I think you're right, my laptop has recently been on a university network where ridiculously over-the-top security was imposed - I will have to look into what programs are still lurking...
