Trouble with batch upload

Hi everyone !

I encountered some issues in uploading pictures to my CPG.
I was using cpg_1.4.10

I decided to upload about 200 pictures to my FTP, I set CHMOD 777 to the folder.
Then I went to the searchnew.php page (FTP=>) on my web gallery and chose the right folder.
The 200 names of the pictures appeared on screen, so I clicked on the OK button.

And at this time the issue occured : only few thumbnails are displayed on the next page.
Here is a screenshot :

The problem is that when I choose an album to add those pictures, only about 80 pictures are added to this album (maybe the one that are displayed on the previous screen .. I don't know)

Strange things :
- All the pictures are properly uploaded on the FTP (I can access to them by typing the full length URL, for example of IMGP3428.JPG which are not displayed on the screenshot)
- When I refresh the page (the one on the screenshot), the pictures that are now displayed are not the same than before ... some that were displayed before are not and vice versa...

I followed the upload troubleshooting section of the docs.
So I created a test useraccount on www.smirnoufteam.be (test/test)

I forgot to say that I upgrade my gallery to the latest version which is the cpg_1.4.12 but the issue remains :(

http uploads work as expected (see http://www.smirnoufteam.be/albums/displayimage.php?pos=-3053). Please post a deep link to one of the files that you tried to batch-add that doesn't show up within the album.

Yes It works well when I upload picture one by one via the UPLOAD IMAGE page.
But when I try to add pictures (that I uploaded via FTP) to an album .. only some of them are properly added.

How can I show you that in another way that the previous screenshot does ?

For me it appears just fine as http://www.smirnoufteam.be/albums/displayimage.php?pos=-3184, which is the thumbnail in the top row, most right column of the album http://www.smirnoufteam.be/albums/thumbnails.php?album=77 (see screenshot). Unable to replicate your issue.

The pic appears to be OK (in terms of color depth etc.), so I was able to batch-add it on my testbed just fine.

Using the admin account that you PMed me I was able to batch-add the files just fine. I can not replicate your issue.

mhmm incredible ... all the 205 pictures are displayed ???
I will let the album ... I hope future album will work fine ::)

I still have trouble to upload pics to my gallery...
Same problem : all thumbs do not appear in searchnew.php?startdir=folder/xxx/xxx
so in the end, all pics are not added to the album :-\

No idea to solve this problem out ?

I tryed it with Firefox, IE7 and Safari .. always the same

Are you sure ? did you check that album after upload process ?

Yes I checked :/

After some test ... it seems that the problem comes from my host (www.ovh.com)
Actually, the batch add works properly when I add pics on my own computer (localhost)

So I have to add albums and pics locally and then upload pics, normal_pics and thum_pics to the FTP
and finally update the DB (cpg_albums and cpg_pictures)

I'll try the JAVA plugin
