problem with jpeg upload

i m using cpg 1.2 on my site http://www.militaryathlete.com  i dont hv  any problems uploading jpegs or gifs but when i upload jpegs from my digital camera (sony dsc p-32) it doesnt show up on the cpg albums.... it shows as though the image is missing.. i tired many diffrent pics from my camera. so could anyone please tell me if its a problem with my cameras jpeg encoding or what the problem might be and what the remedy is.The problem is only when i upload from my digital camera. THANKS

try opening your camera pics on your client with some picture editor (ms paint should do) and save it with another filename. Then upload the new file and check if it works for you. There have been rare reports that some jpegs with unusual format (e.g. CMYK instead of RGB) can't be processed by GD or IM.

Your camera takes pics up to 3.2 megapix.  Are you trying to load high quality, full size pics.  My server fails on anything nearing this size.
If this is the case, I suggest you re-size them on your pc first, to about 1000 x 750, then try again.

Note, I tried to view your pic 'eye' direct, but got a 404 error, file does not exist.
