Hi again guys,

I have a second question, that is that I would like to have the random feature on my main page but would like it not choose from all pictures in the gallery but from a predefined set. E.g. by giving a special keyword to pictures that would be eligible for random display.

Any ideas if this can be realized and where to start?

Thanks and regards, Robert

I think there is a mod or plugin for this; search the board.

unwanted_metas 2.1 prevents certain albums from displaying in the meta albums. is the thread Nibbler refered to. This plugin goes unsupported here. If you need support for it, refer to the forum that donnoman refers to in the announcement thread.

Hi Guys,

Thanks again for the prompt reply. I wanted to have that on a per-picture base and after Nibblers advice for changing functions.inc.php regarding my last question I also did the same here and added a check for a keyword "Random" in the SELECT that chooses the random pictures there. Works fine. :-)

Regards, Robert
