Hi All,

My images are only recording 1 view, the first one, in the number of times displayed field.

Some of my images have several comments and have been viewed numerous times, but still it is only showing 1.

Any idea why?

There is no problem here; your gallery works as expected. Admin views are not counted, nor are duplicate view by the same visitor within a short period. This provides more accurate data.

Is the counter machine specific or user specific?

i.e. if seven different users login from my machine and each view the picture, does that count as seven views or just as one?

It is based on cookies which are browser specific. I can't be 100% sure without actually testing though.
