Ok, i want to make numerous categories inside categories, but when i make a parent category, it lists underneath the main category. How do i prevent that?

You can make as many root categories you want. Also, you can make numerous child categories.
To make a root category, choose "*No category*" in the Parent category combo box.
To make a child category, choose the parent category name in the Parent category combo box.

Example:

Parent Category (choose)	Category title (type)
1. *No category *	Root category 1
2. *No category *	Root category 2
3. Root category 2	Child 1 category to Root category 2
4. Root category 2	Child 2 category to Root category 2
5. *No categoty *	Root category 3

Result:

Category
----------
Root category 1
Root category 2
  Child 1 category to Root category 2
  Child 2 category to Root category 2
Root category 3

Thanks, but i knew that... what im trying to do is make it so you cant see the child categories on the main gallery page

Example:

Main Category 1
Main Category 2
Main Category 3

Inside Main Category 1
Parent Category 1
Parent Category 2
Parent Category 3

I think its possible because ive seen it on other galleries. For example Click Here

That's what the option "Number of levels of categories to display" in coppermine's config is meant to be used for. Please read the documentation before asking questions.

Ahhh.. thanks alot man. and i'm sorry, i'll be sure to check the documentation next time
