Changing filepath in Batch Add?
« on: May 16, 2007, 07:35:11 am »

Is there a way to manually change the filepath in the batch add area & overall through the entire gallery. I"ve moved my gallery from a linux server to a windows server at home and cannot find anywhere to change the file path so it works.

Thanks but I already have that set ok. Members are able to uplaod files with no problem. My problem lies in the batch add system. When I open batch add it tells me there are no albums when there are about 10 albums in that area not including the userpics & edit directories. The pathway in the top bar of the batch add is messed up. I'm hosting this off my home PC and since its on windows the slashes are wrong. This is what the pathway looks like in my batch add:

Code: [Select]
/H:\htdocs\coppermine\albums/
For some reason there is a slash in front of everything and I'm guessing this may be why its not registering the albums in batch add. Is there a way to clean up this path?

Thanks

Known issue on Windows servers. Turn the browsable batch-add interface off. Why didn't you ask this in the first place? Your original question was "how to change the path"... ::)

Hi,
Will this issue be corrected in a near future?

Thanks...

Who knows? There are threads on the bugs board that discuss this issue and proposed fixes. However, they need to be tested thoroughly on the various Windows-driven setups. The problem is that Windows-driven servers have issues with populating server vars.
Anyway, this discussion will not be continued here - that's what the bugs board is meant to be used for instead. Locking.
