how to remove original image by default and only keep intermediate images

hi, i upload images to my gallery and there is a link from the intermediate image to the original image..

how can i remove this link altogether, for all albums and all images..

i don't want to store the original image, all i want to keep is the intermediate image after it has been resized according to the config settings.. is this possible?
