support forum moving like moloasses....
« on: July 19, 2007, 09:50:18 am »

I did a search and it seems like no-one else is having such a problem.  I have a fast DSL connection, but I've experienced really particularly sloooow loading on this board the last few months, even from different countries.  One time it took me 45 minutes to do a search, find a thread, and post a reply.  It was moving so slow the browser timed out. So I posted again, not realizing the first post had gone through, and now I have negative karma :-[
Is anyone else expriencing this?

Sorry if this is redundant or in teh wrong place.

Yes, a redundant posting indeed. Not a valid support request - moving and marking accordingly. Locking it as well.
Can I send you the bills for the bandwidth and huge amount of resources it takes to maintain this support board and the entire site, so we can upgrade to an even bigger machine than what we already have? Would you be willing to pay anything here for faster response times? This is not shared webhosting, but a powerfull dedicated server.
Whining about bad karma will only result in even more bad karma. If you want to find out how to get positive karma instead, read the sticky thread "We need your help". If you want to see previous remarks like yours, search the board for "bad karma" discussions.
