User / Group control CPG/phpbb2 v2.0.6
« on: March 10, 2004, 07:48:21 am »

I am planning to integrate Paypal.
I  cannot add users to different groups.
I've found my integration to work OK.  :D

I notice: CPG Groups Administration, Banned Users, Anonymous, and one other do not appear in the phpbb group control panel.  :?

Both Group and User control default to phpbb control panel.

phpbb User control panel does not allow adding user to group (as does CPG's)  :?

Adding group in phpbb control panel does add it to the list.

Please help. I need to be able to manipulate users into groups in order to do the paypal thing. Thank you in advance.

when using bbs integration, the cpg groups don't exist any longer - coppermine uses phpBB's groups, so you'll have to add the users in phpBB's user management. When changing anything in phpBB's groups, make sure to visit coppermine (logged in as admin) and hit the "groups" link in the admin menu (as this triggers coppermine to resync phpBB's groups with coppermine).

Click "Groups" in phpbb main menu. Find the required group from the drop-down and click "View Information". At the bottom of the Group page, type the appropriate Username into the box beside the "Add Member" button, then click Add Member.
It's as simple as that!
