Integrating one album within another website ?
« on: May 30, 2007, 02:22:31 pm »

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie (regarding CPG) and this is my first post in this forum...
(so plz be patient and move this topic if it is in the wrong subforum here)

I've just installed CPG 1.4.10 -> went through without Problems... :D

my wish:

I would like to integrate one special album from my regular CPG-website
within an other external website *
showing the "CPG-Frontend" look as follows:

Is it possible ?

*
- the external website is hosted on the same (shared) webspace as my regular CPG-website
- the external website is also a L.A.M.P. application (PHP 4) to wich I might add PHP-code if necessary
- access to the CPG Database would also be possible (if necessary)

are there any "ready" solutions/plugins/mods ?

..

You might want to take a look here: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=35450.0

CPMFetch does what you need i think.

This is a PHP object that allows you to easily display random or latest images from your coppermine gallery on external php and html pages.  It is being actively supported and developed by me.  Its simple, but I am also trying to make it as feature rich as I can without achieving bloat.  You can draw images (random or otherwise) from the entire gallery, a specific category or a single album.

Thank you for this info, I was not the original poster of this thread question but this program has solved a small issue for me that I had in trying to find something to replace my slide show.  Using this program saves lots of time and trouble loading everything up into the slide.... now I can just link it to the Design Team Album.
