login loop
« on: May 28, 2007, 05:10:45 pm »

Hi,

I originally installed and had happily working coppermine version 1.4.10. It was installed using fantastico.

I then hit problems with login. It would appear to login (no error message), but return me back to the login screen. Enter an invalid login and an error comes up.

I read the forums and found that fantastico can mess things up. So I totally un-installed and have manually installed.

On my new installation I am getting the same errors.

I cannot give username and password as I am not able to get in to configure the system to set one up.

Cheers,

Don't use Fantastico, it sucks. Only supported method to install Coppermine is the one we describe in our docs. Thanks for returning and (sort of) resolving your thread. Marking thread as "solved" however.
