database needs updating
« on: May 21, 2007, 10:49:50 am »

Hello all,

Here is my problem.  Hosting company tried to mirror database so they can upgrade the "mySQL" server and it did not work. As a result they had to restore the database and we have lost about 36 hours of comments and uploads.

Comments can be redone by any one that see the need.  All uploaded images, thumbs and the like are still in the (users folder) and now comes my question.

Is there anyway to update the (users) folder like you can with "Batch add files"?

Thanks in advance.

This is what I would like to find.

Is there a "mod" or "plugin" that will include "user" folders in the "Batch add files" operation?

Thanks in advance.

No, there's no such mod. You'll need to edit the file searchnew.php and remove the code that excludes the userpics folder from being scanned when batch-adding. Not recommended.
