When trying to install the XP Publisher Wizard on the client side.... I first click save target as for the registry file.  When trying to open it, I get the message....

"Cannot import C:\Documents and Settings\John Reardon\Desktop\cpg_1179850033.reg: The specified file is not a registry script.  You can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor."

What do I need to do to make this work?

If you followed the steps as written here : http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#xp_publish_setup it should work.

Did you try to set up XP Publisher again ? It might be that the reg file you were given has somehow become corrupted.

Do exactly as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs.
