Connection of template.html and style.css
« on: May 01, 2007, 10:39:25 pm »

Hello,
I tried to use theme "fotogallery" as base for my own new gallery. But I couldn't find out, how the appearance of the theme is controlled. I opened "theme.html" in Dreamweaver and couldn't find any styles contained in the css defined in it. How can I find out, e.g. where the background colours of the screen and the alignment of the menues are controlled?
Regards
Alexander

They are in the style.css. If you renamed the theme (which is recommended) make sure that template.html points to the correct style.css

I know that they are there. But I can't find any sign of style tag or something like that in the template.html. So I don't know which css entry I have to edit to change a certain property.

Look at the html output, not template.html.
