Designing database structure
« on: March 03, 2008, 09:37:12 pm »

Hi everyone,

I have a general question about CM galleries and other data.  I have a site that has a MySQL database that will have tens of thousands of records at some point.  (This is an ongoing project.)  I have two sets of image data that are going to be attached to the records in the main database.  My question is... Is it best to have all of the data including all of the images in the same database or is it better for performance to have separate databases that are linked?
