'NEW' icon under thumbnail

Is it possible to see an icon with the text NEW under the thumbnails for 7 days (like the rating image)?
So that users can see in the albums what has been uploaded in the past 7 days.

Not  a coppermine feature. Has been requested before. Coppermine doesn't keep track of the pics a particular users has viewed.
Bottom line: if you need this badly: code it or hire someone to code it for you. Not an easy task though.
