How to make "recent uploads" appear in ascending order?

How can I make my "recent uploads" thumbnails appear in ascending order? I have uploaded a batch, and they are all jumbled.
I can sort all the albums into ascending order but not the front page. As it is a sequence of time lapse images, it is important that the most recent is at the top/left.
