Is it possible to make a link to upload.php that specifies the album that the picture will go into - to save the user having to select the right gallery? - so i could do something like link to "/gallery/upload.php?album=1" to force selection of album ID 1 after they have browsed for a file?

I want to make a link for users to submit images to me and have the correct album automatically selected (to save confusion for some of my less technologically literate users!)

Possible if you code it. Not a feature out of the box.

It is a feature, but only when using single file upload mode.
