Bridging
« on: March 04, 2007, 09:21:39 am »

Hi,

I see it is not possible to make a bridge between coppermine and phpBB2 when it's in subdomains. The problem is I had it installed in subdomains both of them, so what can i do now? I really need this to work..

Subdomains work. Search the board.

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and phpBB:

I just don't know what to do. What is relative path? What does it mean?

Coppermine install: http://www.humor.jegkjedermeg.com
Forum install: http://www.forum.xarta.net
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.10
Forum version: phpBB 2.0.22
Test user account: testuser / s8n7hyz8

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.forum.xarta.net
Relative path to your BBS's config file: (don't know what this means, help?)
Use post-based groups?:  (what is this?)
Cookie name/preifx (if applicable) (dont know?)

Those are not subdomains, but entirely different domains. Bridging can not work, simply because entirely different domains can read the cookies from one another.
You can't bridge them.
