I've seen dozens of requests asking for help on how to understand how a bridge file works, i.e., what parts are editable, what parts need to remain the same, what parts are required, etc. But on every request all I see are responses telling people to "look at the bridge files and modify it or get someone who knows PHP to do it for you". I personally feel this is very lazy advise and it's almost like the developers don't want people to know how to make bridge files. Given that this project is Open Source, I'm really hoping that a kind soul who knows about bridge files can write something up that will provide a little help on what the basics are and truly "Open" the knowledge up for sharing. I'd certainly be willing to pay for a "Guide to customizing your own bridge file for your website and Coppermine". Anyone willing to step up and offer some assistance?
