Moving the albums directory
« on: February 22, 2007, 12:39:11 pm »

I have an existing implementation using coppermine 1.4.10 .  There is a configuration setting which points to the album directory.  I need to move my album directory and understand how I would reference the new location via this setting.  However, there is this notation in the help

This setting mustn't be changed if you already have files in your database. If you do so, all references to your existing files will break.
which makes sense as various things must reference the existing files.

I'm just looking for any clues as to what might need to be tweaked (and where) in the database to support such a move of the folder.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Has anyone else already done this (moved the album directory and repointed everything over successfully)?

You just need to move the files yourself to the new albums directory, that's all.
