I've changed my 'thumb_nopic.jpg' pics but they've come out so small how do I resize them so they appear bigger..

i want to find the file to edit the code which says what the sizing of this file is At the moment it is sext to 50 x 23 pixels but it's too tiny to read the text on the graphic.. Anyone?
