What does this mean?

"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 35651584 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 9344 bytes) in /home/bynessou/public_html/gallery/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 262"

it wont let me add the pics to the gallery  ;)

Your pics are too large for the server to handle. Resize them before you upload, get the PHP memory limit increased, or switch to ImageMagick if available. Search the board before posting.

But it lets me upload all the pictures into FTP fine. shouldnt it work on the gallery the same way?
