upload okay / bringing into coppermine quirk
« on: February 10, 2007, 08:25:19 pm »

I have been using Coppermine for a while and really like it.
A couple of nights ago had something strange happen.
I upload all my files via SSH(ftp) to my server.
Then I log into my site and populate the albums from within Coppermine.
On one album 5 pictures in the middle of the album were not able to br brought into the album.
So, I deleted the album multiple times and tried picture by picture with the same results.

I did not see anything in the FAQ that this might point to but I am curious on how to resolve this.

Thanks.

Is there something special about those pictures? Can you post a link to them?

On the surface there doesn't appear to be anything however, I did find this.

The two areas where the files cannot be brought in are where a pictures is 1,800+K in size.
That picture and at least five pictures after cannot be brought in.

Any ideas?  Is it a files size setting in SQL?

More information on what I am seeing.

I thought that maybe it was the file size of the jpegs.  So, I brought them into Photoshop and saved them as smaller files.
Still not working.

However, here is what I am seeing.  On the list of new files screen I do not see a thumbnail of the picture.  During the process I get an internal server error message.

Does this help at all?

Nibbler - I use Coppermine for a lot of the features but one I like the best is password protection of the photo gallery.

Can I send it to you in a pm?

Thanks.
