learning keywords and iptc exif stuff
« on: February 08, 2007, 02:57:21 am »

Hello.

I am at the point of uploading all my images to my site.

I getting my head around the best way to get keyword descrpitions for images uploaded with my images.
I undestand that the keyword feature is used only for cross link files into albums.

So I use ACdsee, it uses a databses for keywords etc,i think this is seperate and will not be uploaded with the photo ? My understanding is that the keywords to descripe your imags needs to be in the iptc or exif data section for CPG to import it. Is this the only and easiest way to get this job done.

I have read that people use exifer, I am download to play with it.

Cheers

Pete
