Admin Tools - Delete original image backup (watermark mod)
« on: February 07, 2007, 08:54:37 am »

Hi,

I am using Stramms newest Modpack and I found the following option in Admin Tools:

Quote
Delete original image backup (watermark mod) (1)
This will delete the backup image. You will save some disk space but not be able anymore to undo the watermark!!! After that the watermark will be permanent

So I use only watermarks on intermediate images, fullsize images are untouched. So I had a look to my pic-directory and found following stucture:
  • image1.jpg
  • thumb_image1.jpg
  • normal_image1.jpg
  • orig_image1.jpg

So when I use now the function to delete the original image backup to save server space, it will delete all the orig_ prefixed images?
So if I will later change my watermark to all images in the gallery on intermediate pics with "Update thumbs and/or resized photos (1) -> Only resized pictures". Will this work?

Thanks in advance for your answers.
