Animations?
« on: February 06, 2007, 02:56:38 am »

Does Coopermine Gallery allow animations (.gif) because I want to put animations in my gallery.
If they do allow, will the animation move?

The image libraries Coppermine can use (GD or ImageMagick) do support GIF to a limited extent: GIFs are considered outdated, animated GIFs loose animation (only the first frame is taken into account) when resizing (aka when the thumbnail and intermediate image are being created). Only way to circumvent this is manual creation of the resized files and manually uploading them (using your FTP app).
