I have been looking around a great while now and also in the help but can't seem to find what i am looking for.

I have a domain with cpg installed http://www.ciland.nl/gallery/index.php which i am happily using now for a few years. I also have a subdomain http://www.rssingers.ciland.nl/ for which i want to have a similar cpg gallerydatabase cause now i am using an offline build html gallery on that one.
The 2 domains have nothing to do with each other (although both made and managed by me)

So how to expand the existing gallery with photo's belonging to the subdomain but so that when on that subdomain and clicking to the gallery only see the photo's belonging to that subdomain (and if possible in another layout) or do i really need two cpg's installed or use 2 databases and how to set things up than?

Just install 2 galleries. Either use different databases or different mysql prefixes during installation.
